Mackie Micro Series 1202-VLZ 12-Channel Mic/Line Mixer - Used
The 1202-VLZ is one of the most enduring compact mixers ever made, and its reputation is well earned. Designed by Greg Mackie and made in the USA in Woodinville, Washington, it brought studio-grade preamp performance to a compact format at a time when that wasn't common. Four mono channels with XLR mic inputs and Mackie's XDR preamps — rated at -129.5dBm E.I.N. — handle mic duties, while four stereo channel pairs cover line-level sources, adding up to 12 channels total. Three-band active EQ with low-cut filter on the mono channels, two aux sends with pre/post switching, balanced XLR main outputs switchable between mic and line level, Alt 3/4 bus for DAW routing, and a dedicated control room/phones section with its own level control round out a feature set that still holds up for home studio, broadcast, podcasting, and small live applications. Built like a tank, as Mackie mixers of this era were known to be.
This one has been tested and functions normally across all channels, phantom power, aux sends, and outputs. Cosmetically it shows normal scratches consistent with regular use.
