The ARTcessories ProMix is a compact and reliable 3-channel microphone mixer designed for situations where you need to combine multiple microphones into a single input on a larger console, powered speaker, or recording interface. This "problem-solver" unit is a staple for sub-mixing drums, background vocalists, or multi-mic acoustic instrument setups. Despite its small footprint, it provides independent level controls for each channel, allowing for a precise and balanced mono mix.
Each of the three XLR channels features its own selectable phantom power and a low-frequency cut filter, accessible via convenient DIP switches on the side of the unit. This makes the ProMix compatible with both dynamic and condenser microphones while helping to eliminate stage rumble or low-end hum. The mixer offers a balanced XLR line output for professional connectivity and a 1/4" Phones/Aux output that can be used for monitoring or as an additional unbalanced line-level feed.
This unit is in very good condition and has been fully tested in our shop. All inputs, outputs, and level pots are clean and function perfectly. The rugged steel chassis shows some typical light cosmetic signs of use but remains structurally sound and ready for the gig bag. For added versatility, the ProMix can be powered by the included 12V DC adapter or by two 9V batteries, making it an excellent choice for remote recording or portable PA applications.
