The Pyramid PA205 is a compact and reliable 120-watt mono PA amplifier designed for public address systems, small venues, or office paging setups. Offering a straightforward control layout and versatile output options—including 4, 8, and 16-ohm terminals as well as a 70V output for commercial "distributed" speaker systems—this amp is a workhorse for clear vocal projection and background music.
This unit features two front-panel microphone inputs with independent volume controls and a specialized "Mic 1 Talkover" function, which automatically lowers the level of your music (Phono/Aux) when you speak into the first microphone. For external audio, it includes a front-panel 3.5mm Aux jack for mobile devices and rear-panel RCA inputs for a phono or CD player. The 3-band tone control (High/Mid/Low) allows you to fine-tune the output to suit the acoustics of your room.
This amplifier is in very good condition and has been fully tested in our shop. All inputs, outputs, and the LED level display are fully functional. As is typical with older pro audio gear, some of the potentiometers and switches exhibit a bit of adjustment scratch when moved. These are standard "dirty" pots that are easily cleanable with contact cleaner spray; once your levels are set, the signal remains clean and clear. The chassis shows some typical light cosmetic signs of use but is structurally sound and ready for its next installation.
