API Select SV14 500 Series Parametric 4-Band EQ w/ Box - Used - Excellent
The SV14 is API's re-engineering of the APSI 562 EQ — a parametric equalizer distributed by API during the 1970s and 1980s that has become genuinely sought after in the decades since. Four fully parametric bands cover the full audible spectrum: Low (20Hz–200Hz), Low-Mid (100Hz–1kHz), High-Mid (500Hz–5kHz), and High (2kHz–20kHz), each with ±12dB of boost and cut via dual concentric stacked potentiometers for continuously variable frequency and gain control. Transformer-balanced output preserves signal integrity, and a dedicated EQ in/out switch makes before-and-after comparison instant. Designed, built, and tested at the API factory in Jessup, Maryland.
This one is in outstanding shape — no visible cosmetic marks, scratches, or wear anywhere on the faceplate or knobs. All four bands and the EQ in/out switch function normally, signal passing cleanly.
