The Presonus FireStudio Project - USED is a professional 10-input, 10-output recording system designed for high-resolution studio tracking. It features eight Class A XMAX microphone preamplifiers, providing high headroom and clean, quiet gain for capturing detailed recordings. With its 24-bit/96kHz conversion, this rackmount interface is a reliable workhorse for multi-tracking drums, full bands, or complex studio routing.
This unit has been tested in our shop and is in good working order. It is designed to connect via FireWire, offering low-latency performance and stable synchronization. The front panel features individual gain controls for all eight onboard preamps, two instrument inputs for direct recording, and a dedicated headphone output with independent level control.
Please note that this is a FireWire-based interface. Before purchasing, ensure your computer system is compatible with FireWire 400/800 or that you have the appropriate Thunderbolt-to-FireWire adapters and supported drivers for your operating system.
