The Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 (2nd Gen) is a comprehensive rackmount audio interface designed to be the centerpiece of a professional home or project studio. With a total of 18 inputs and 20 outputs, it provides the connectivity needed to record a full drum kit, a live band, or a complex synthesizer setup. This second-generation model features improved preamps with a more linear gain structure and class-leading digital conversion at up to 192kHz/24-bit.
This interface is equipped with eight natural-sounding Scarlett mic preamps, offering plenty of headroom and clean gain. Two of these inputs are located on the front panel for easy access to high-headroom instrument inputs for guitars and basses. For expanded connectivity, the 18i20 includes ADAT I/O, allowing you to add eight more channels via an external preamp. It also features dual independent headphone outputs with dedicated volume controls, making it easy for the engineer and the artist to have separate monitor mixes.
This unit is in very good condition and has been fully tested in our shop. All inputs, outputs, and knobs are functioning perfectly with no crackle or signal dropouts. The chassis shows only minor signs of rack wear, and the internal clock remains rock-solid.
