Mill River Music brings you a used Yamaha DX7 with a Hardshell Case and loads of included accessories (ROMS, Breath Controller, Foot Controller, and original Manuals)!
We tested this keyboard with the added supplies and ROMS with everything working as expected, and sounding incredible! This synth gives a slice of history, as it was first introduced to market by Yamaha in 1983; synths at the time were analog-based, however FM synthesis created brighter, glassier sounds, and could better imitate acoustic sounds such as brass and bells; Yamaha licensed the technology to create the DX7 which helped to bring down manufacturing costs and bring consumers new and innovative sounds!
This keyboard comes with Yamaha ROMS, which are external plug-in memory units that expand the synthesizer’s sound library without overwriting internal memory.
A Yamaha BC-1 Breath controller is included, which is an Analog breath pressure transducer / controller; the DX7's foot controller is also included to control Volume and Expression parameters!
