The PSS-30 is a compact square-wave keyboard from the early days of Yamaha's PSS line — 32 mini keys, eight preset voices, eight auto-accompaniment rhythms, and a lo-fi charm that has kept it in circulation well past its toy-keyboard origins. The sound engine runs on the YM2410 chip, generating pure square waves with two-voice polyphony. No velocity sensitivity, no MIDI, no line out — just a built-in speaker, battery power, and a particular kind of digital grittiness that sits nicely in lo-fi and experimental contexts. Simple, direct, and genuinely fun to play around with.
This unit is in fair condition — it shows its age cosmetically but plays fully through all voices and rhythms. Photos show the condition accurately; please review before purchasing.
