Easy iPod® playback
The 'V473 has a USB port in front, a perfect way to connect your iPod or iPhone®. Play your favorite tunes and keep your iPod charged for your next excursion. The receiver bypasses the iPod's DAC and employs its own low-jitter circuitry for a pristine musical experience. Plus Yamaha's Compressed Music Enhancer restores your favorite songs to near CD sound quality on playback. You can also use the USB port to listen to music stored on flash drives, and a front-panel minijack input lets you plug in any device with a headphone output.

A breath of fresh AirPlay®
Apple's AirPlay technology lets you stream music from your iTunes® library directly to the receiver, either from a networked computer or right from your iPhone®, iPad®, or iPod touch®.
