The Loar LM-600 is a professional-grade F-style mandolin hand-carved from solid tonewoods. Inspired by the legendary designs of the 1920s, this model features a solid, hand-carved Spruce top and solid, hand-carved figured Maple back and sides. This all-solid construction, paired with a traditional nitrocellulose lacquer finish, allows the instrument to vibrate freely, producing the powerful "bark" and rich tonal complexity required for bluegrass and acoustic ensemble playing.
This LM-600-BK is in Very Good condition, finished in a sleek, classic Black gloss. It has been well-maintained and shows only minor signs of play wear typical of a high-gloss instrument. The ebony fingerboard and scooped extension provide an effortless playing experience, while the high-quality hardware ensures excellent tuning stability. As with all our instruments, it has been professionally inspected and set up in our shop to ensure optimal bridge seating, intonation, and comfortable action.
