This is a gorgeous piece of history, an all-original Gibson Model A mandolin from 1915. It has just been professionally set up with fresh strings, and it plays great and sounds even better! It has the warm, woody, and complex "potato bug" tone that these golden-era Gibsons are famous for.
This mandolin is in excellent condition, especially for an instrument that is well over 100 years old. All parts (excluding strings) appear to be original. It includes its original hardshell case, which is in Fair condition. To ensure this vintage treasure arrives safely, it will be shipped in a modern, molded polyfoam case (the "Poly Bag").
