This is a beautiful and meticulously crafted 22-string electric travel kora from Kalachev Arts and Crafts, an instrument that perfectly bridges the gap between traditional West African harp design and modern portability. Designed specifically for the modern performer, this model is built as an electric instrument meant to be plugged into an amplifier or audio interface. While it retains a lovely, delicate tone for quiet personal practice when unplugged, its full resonance and harmonic richness are truly unlocked once it is amplified.
