The Deering Eagle II is a professional-grade 19-fret tenor banjo that has redefined the standard for modern banjo tone. Built with Deering’s innovative Twenty-Ten brass tone ring, this instrument offers a crisp, clear voice with a balanced frequency response that works beautifully across multiple genres. This banjo is in great shape and has been expertly maintained. It is currently set up for Irish Tenor tuning (GDAE), providing that deep, punchy growl favored by Celtic players. However, if you prefer standard tenor tuning (CGDA), just let us know and we can adjust the setup for you before shipping. The instrument shows very little signs of use, though there is some minor fret wear that does not impact playability or intonation. There is also a bit of light fogging on the chrome hardware here and there, which is typical for a pre-owned instrument but does not detract from its stunning overall appearance.
The original hardshell case is included and looks nearly new, providing top-tier protection for this high-quality American-made banjo. The Eagle II is crafted in Spring Valley, California, and represents the perfect blend of modern innovation and classic banjo craftsmanship.
