Paul Reed Smith PRS Core Custom 24 Artist Quilt Top Natural Electric Guitar w/HSC
The One That Started It All
The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar. It was the first model Paul Reed Smith brought to the public at PRS Guitars' first Winter NAMM show in 1985, and it has been a top seller ever since. Played by internationally touring artists, gigging musicians and aspiring players alike, the Custom 24 has defined PRS tone and playability for four decades.
This one takes the classic recipe up a notch. An Artist-grade quilted maple top, one of PRS's highest figure grades, sits over a mahogany back. It's paired with a flame maple neck in the fast, comfortable Pattern Thin carve, and a cocobolo fretboard with a matching cocobolo headstock veneer. Smoked black hardware gives it a sleek, modern look and lets that deep, rolling quilt take center stage.
PRS DMO pickups were personally designed by Paul Reed Smith for remarkable clarity and extended high and low end. A 5-way blade switch gives you a wide range of humbucking and single-coil tones. PRS's patented Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners keep everything stable and in tune.
