This one is a 10 Top, hand-selected at the factory for exceptional figuring, loaded with PRS 85/15 pickups — a design Paul Reed Smith developed personally to deliver remarkable clarity with extended high and low end response — running through a 5-way blade switch for a full range of humbucking and coil-split tones. The Pattern Thin neck is one of the fastest, most comfortable profiles PRS makes, and this guitar lives up to that reputation completely. It absolutely shreds. The neck disappears in your hand, the guitar responds instantly, and it has the kind of effortless feel that makes you want to keep playing.
The Carroll Blue finish carries a note worth reading: the color has shifted from its original shade due to UV exposure, which is a known and documented characteristic of certain PRS nitrocellulose finishes. This is not a defect, not damage, and not a refinish — it is a natural consequence of the finish chemistry, well understood in the PRS community. The guitar is otherwise Mint — no play wear, no scratches, nothing to report. Comes with the original hardshell case.
