Here's a 1960s German-made Klira Star Club offset electric guitar in great playing condition. You don't see these every day! This guitar is basically a freaky German version of a jazzmaster, with an offset body shape, Jazzmaster-style trem system, and a ton of controls for dialing in the perfect tone. The body is thin and very lightweight, the neck is fast and comfortable, pickups sound great, and the unique controls are lots of fun to play around with. The small lever on the top by the treble side is a volume swell circuit; it also has on/off switches for each pickup with individual volume controls, a treble boost circuit with master volume, rhythm/lead selector switch, and a master tone knob. Very cool!! As we all know, these vintage German guitars can be somewhat inconsistent in terms of quality, but we've been very impressed with this one around the shop. Very cool!

The guitar is in very good shape for its age, with some normal cosmetic signs of play throughout (see photos). Fully set up and serviced in our shop and playing great! The original bridge and tailpiece have been replaced -- original parts are included with the guitar. It ships in the original hardshell case which shows some wear but is functional.
