Kiesel Headless Delos HD6 – Pink – Roasted Maple Neck – Ebony Fingerboard – Includes Original Case – Used Excellent
Kiesel Guitars has been building custom instruments in San Diego since 1946, and the Headless Delos represents one of their most focused and modern designs — a compact, ergonomic S-style body stripped of the headstock entirely, delivering better balance, reduced weight, and a cleaner aesthetic that has attracted a devoted following among players who have spent time with one. Every Kiesel is built to order in San Diego to the customer's exact specifications, which means no two are identical and the instrument in front of you reflects deliberate choices rather than catalog defaults. This one is a particularly striking example. The pink finish is vivid and confident, and against the warm amber-brown of the roasted maple neck and the deep black of the ebony fingerboard, the color combination is genuinely eye-catching — three materials that look like they were chosen together with real intention, because they were. The alder body keeps the weight comfortable and the tone balanced and articulate, and the dual carbon fiber neck rods in the tung-oiled roasted maple neck provide exceptional stability across temperature and humidity changes. The ebony fingerboard runs 24 frets of stainless steel with dot inlays and a 14-inch radius, and the Hipshot fixed bridge delivers direct, uncompromised string-to-body energy transfer for excellent sustain and resonance. Dual Kiesel Beryllium humbuckers feed a 5-way blade switch with volume and tone controls — a versatile passive setup that covers a wide tonal range from warm and full in the neck position to punchy and aggressive at the bridge, with three useful blended positions in between. The headless tuning system keeps the instrument compact and stage-ready, and the overall build quality is exceptional in the way that only a custom shop instrument can be.
A really unique and fun color combination on an exceptionally well-built guitar. Basic signs of play and a small amount of residue on the pickguard next to the Kiesel logo, shown in the photos — nothing structural, nothing that affects playability. Comes with the original heavy-duty rigid soft case.
