Godin Radiator, Bourbon Burst, Gig Bag - Used - Excellent
Godin is one of those manufacturers that does not get nearly the attention it deserves, and the Radiator is a perfect example of why that is a shame. Built in Canada from silver leaf maple — a tonewood Godin has championed for decades and knows better than anyone — the Radiator has a chambered single-cut body with a high-contrast pearloid pickguard that gives it a visual personality entirely its own: part vintage boutique, part muscle car, entirely distinctive. The Bourbon Burst finish is warm and rich, and the pearloid against it looks exactly right. The 24.75" short scale and the hand-finished neck make it one of the most immediately comfortable guitars you can pick up at any price point, and the pair of custom Godin humbuckers deliver a warm, full, slightly vintage-inflected tone that suits everything from blues to classic rock without apology.
This one plays wonderfully. The neck is very comfortable under the hands — the kind of profile that feels broken in from the first chord — and at 7 lbs 8 oz it is a genuinely lightweight instrument that never gets tiring on a long session or a long gig. It feels like a new guitar, which at Excellent condition with no blemishes of note is exactly what it is. Clean throughout. Comes with the Godin gig bag.
