Gibson SG Special USA - Used
This is a genuine American-made Gibson SG Special that offers classic rock performance and iconic double-cutaway styling at an accessible price point. Known for its resonant mahogany body and lightning-fast neck, this SG delivers the punchy midrange and aggressive bite that has defined rock and roll for decades.
This guitar is in very good overall shape but features a common player-grade repair: a previously broken headstock. The repair was performed professionally and is structurally sound; it has held up reliably for a significant amount of time. While you can feel the slight edge of the repair site, it does not impact the stability or playability of the instrument.
The guitar shows some honest signs of use, including buckle rash on the back and general finish wear consistent with a well-played instrument. However, the frets show no wear, and the guitar has been professionally set up in our shop to ensure it plays and sounds exactly as a USA Gibson should. This is a fantastic opportunity to grab a workhorse SG that is ready for the stage or studio. Please note that this guitar does not include a case or gig bag.
