This 2024 Gibson Les Paul Studio is a stunning example of modern Gibson styling, finished in a gob-smacking Blueberry Burst that truly needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Weighing in at a comfortable 7.60 lbs, it features the Ultra-Modern weight relief that makes it resonant and easy to handle on stage without sacrificing that thick Les Paul tone.
This guitar is in Very Good condition, a grade determined primarily by the under-the-hood modifications. The stock Burstbucker pickups have been swapped for a matching set of Gibson '61 humbuckers—pickups typically found on higher-end Standard and SG models—offering a clearer, more vintage-voiced bite. Furthermore, the stock PCB (circuit board) system has been upgraded to a traditional, tried-and-true point-to-point wiring scheme, featuring Gibson-branded CTS pots and Sprague Orange Drop capacitors. Cosmetically, the guitar is in great shape. There are a couple of errant shallow scratches and tiny dings, but they are only perceptible at just the right angle under direct, bright light and well-nigh impossible to capture on camera. From a few feet away, it looks pristine. It has just been professionally set up in our shop and is ready to rock. It includes the original handsome black Gibson leather-like gig bag.
