Gibson 2025 Les Paul Junior Double Cut, Vintage Cherry, Hardshell Case - Used - Excellent
The Les Paul Junior has one of the more honest origin stories in guitar history. Gibson introduced it in 1954 as a student model — stripped down, affordable, built to get the job done without unnecessary complication. What nobody anticipated was how much that simplicity would turn out to matter. One pickup, one volume, one tone, a wraparound bridge bolted straight into the mahogany body, and a P-90 that responds to every nuance of picking attack and volume knob position with a directness that more complicated guitars consistently fail to replicate. The double-cutaway body that arrived in 1958 opened up the full range of the fretboard and gave the Junior its definitive shape. Countless professional musicians across every genre have reached for this guitar specifically because of what it does not have.
The 2025 version stays true to that blueprint. Slab double-cutaway mahogany body, mahogany neck with SlimTaper profile, rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, and the single Dogear P-90 hand-wired to a master volume and tone with an Orange Drop capacitor. The wraparound bridge delivers exceptional sustain and the Graph Tech nut and Vintage Deluxe tuners hold pitch reliably. At 6 lbs 4 oz this one is featherweight — a guitar that disappears on a strap and stays comfortable for a full set. Set up by our shop with nice low action and ready to rock.
Condition is Excellent. Very clean throughout with only very minor pick scrapes on the pickguard — nothing on the body, nothing structural. Check the photos. Comes with the original Gibson hardshell case and swag.
