Released in 2013, the Elliot Easton "Tikibird" is Gibson's signature Firebird for the Cars' lead guitarist, and it carries plenty of his personality. It pairs the classic reverse-body Firebird and neck-through build with a pair of '57 Classic humbuckers, coil-split and phase-reverse slider switches for a wide range of sounds, a factory Bigsby B3, and smooth Steinberger gearless tuners. The Gold Mist Poly finish and the Tiki graphic on the pickguard make it one of the coolest-looking Firebirds Gibson has made. As original and vibey as the man himself.
This one has been set up in our shop and is playing amazing. Cosmetically it shows some honest wear: there is finish checking on the back of the headstock and near the upper bout strap pin, and a small chip at the very tip of the headstock. One modification to note: a roller bridge is currently installed in place of the original nylon-saddle bridge, which is included in the case so it can be swapped back if you prefer. See photos for a close look at everything.
