This 2004 Fender American Telecaster HH features a rare configuration for its era, combining the classic Tele silhouette with the power of dual humbuckers. Finished in a striking Chrome Red with a rosewood fingerboard, this is a unique American-made workhorse that stands out from the pack.
This instrument is in Very Good condition, though it is best described as a "player's grade" guitar. It has been well-worn and well-played, sporting plenty of chips, dings, and scratches that attest to its life on the road. Despite the cosmetic battle scars, it has healthy bones and solid structural integrity. There is some fret wear present, but it does not affect the fresh, clean shop setup; it plays great with comfortable action.
The electronics have been modified for performance. The neck pickup has been upgraded to a DiMarzio 36th Anniversary PAF, paired with one of the stock Fender humbuckers. The original S-1 switching system has been removed; the pots have been changed and flipped for better access, and a push/pull pot on the tone knob now splits both pickups for those single-coil textures. At 8 lbs 1 oz, it feels solid and it is. Please note, no bag or case is included.
