This is a real-deal Fender Telecaster from 2008. The Standard models from this era (Made in Mexico) are widely considered the best value of all the guitars that bear the Fender name, offering pro-level feel and sound. This one is a fantastic player. It has just had a professional setup, plays great, and is ready to deliver all the iconic Tele tones you would expect from a workhorse instrument.
This guitar is in Very Good condition. It has one notable cosmetic issue: it looks like it took a little hit on the corner of the back and side on the lower bout (bass side). As shown in the pictures, there's a small section of exposed wood surrounded by a bit of affected finish. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the guitar's structure, playability, or comfort. Otherwise, the guitar is in fine shape. Body is Ash and at 9 lbs 5 oz, it has a solid, resonant vibe without feeling heavy. Please note, no bag or case is included.
