The Player Plus Telecaster is Fender's modern refinement of the Telecaster platform for players who want the classic voice with a few thoughtful upgrades. The Player Plus Noiseless pickups deliver the warm, sweet Tele twang the format is known for — without the single-coil hum that vintage-style pickups carry with them, which makes this guitar genuinely more usable in quiet studio situations and on modern stages where noise floors matter. The 12" fingerboard radius is flatter than a vintage spec, which means chords stay comfortable and bends stay clean all the way up the neck. The Modern C neck profile with satin urethane back and rolled fingerboard edges has that broken-in feel from the first time you pick it up. Locking tuners and a 6-saddle strings-through-body bridge with steel block saddles round out a package that is more player-ready than the standard Player series in every measurable way.
The push/pull tone control is the feature that earns the most conversation on this guitar, and rightly so.
