Fender American Ultra II Stratocaster – Sinister Red – 2024 – Mint
The American Ultra II is Fender's flagship production Stratocaster — the top of the American-made lineup below the Custom Shop — and it earns that position in every detail. When Fender replaced the original Ultra series with the Ultra II in late 2023, the updates were focused and meaningful: quartersawn maple neck for superior stability, revised Ultra II Noiseless Vintage pickups with improved response and articulation, Luminlay side dots, and a refined compound-radius fingerboard that moves from 10" at the nut to 14" at the body, making chord work natural and comfortable in the lower positions while the upper register stays flat and fast for single-note playing and bends. The Modern D neck profile is slim with wide shoulders — comfortable for a wide range of playing styles — and the Ultra rolled fingerboard edges give the neck a broken-in feel from the first note. The tapered neck heel and sculpted body contours allow genuine upper-fret access in a way that a standard Strat heel never could. Under the hood, three Ultra II Noiseless Vintage single-coils deliver everything the Stratocaster is known for — chimey cleans, glassy in-between tones, cutting bridge — without a trace of hum, and the S-1 switch adds the neck pickup into positions one and two for additional tonal depth. Sinister Red with the black anodized aluminum pickguard and maple neck is a sharp, striking combination — bold without being flashy.
This one is mint and barely touched. Comes complete with the original TSA molded hardshell case, all case candy, and Certificate of Authenticity. We checked it through the shop and it plays exactly as a guitar at this level should.
