Fender built the 75th Anniversary Stratocaster in Mexico to mark the company's 75th year, finished in the special Diamond Anniversary color with a matching painted headstock and a commemorative 75th Anniversary neck plate. This one has already had the kind of upgrades most players end up doing anyway. A set of Lindy Fralin Blues Special pickups gives it a fuller, warmer Strat voice with extra midrange push, the harness has been neatly rewired, Hipshot locking tuners keep it stable, and a Vega-Trem VT1 Ultra Trem replaces the stock vibrato.
This one feels fantastic and plays beautifully. The Vega-Trem is ultra responsive and smooth, perfect for those expressive Jeff Beck style pitch bends, and with the pickups, wiring and tuners already sorted, it's ready to go straight to the gig or studio. It's in very good overall condition; see photos for a close look.
