ESP LTD EC-256 Orange Burst - Excellent - Used
ESP has been building guitars in Japan since 1975, and its LTD line brings the company's design approach to a much friendlier price. The EC-256, made in Indonesia, is the LTD take on the classic single-cutaway Eclipse shape, with a mahogany body under a flame maple top, a three-piece thin U-shaped mahogany set neck, a 24.75" scale and 22 XJ frets. It's loaded with ESP LH-150 humbuckers, a straightforward two-humbucker setup that suits rock, blues and heavier styles alike. It's a good fit for players who want a single-cut with some visual flash without paying for a higher-end model.
This one is in great shape. The orange flame maple top has a high gloss finish that looks fantastic, and we've got no cosmetic issues to report. It feels sleek and really great to play. All of the electronics work as they should, and it plays to our shop spec. Our tech cleaned it up and put on a fresh set of EXL110 strings before it hit the floor.
