B.C. Rich has been building guitars for players who want their instrument to look as aggressive as it sounds since Bernie Rico Sr. started the company in Los Angeles in 1969, and the Warbeast is one of the purest expressions of that philosophy. The body shape combines the angular aggression of the Warlock with the pointed horns of the Beast into something that is immediately and unmistakably B.C. Rich — beveled edges catching the light at multiple angles, the lower V-shaped cutout, the Son of Beast headstock. It is a purpose-built metal machine from the silhouette out.
The BDSM humbuckers — Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched — are B.C. Rich's matched pair system, tested and paired by tonal and output characteristics for consistent balance between neck and bridge positions. High output and articulate enough to handle fast riffing without losing definition. The string-through-body Tune-O-Matic bridge adds sustain and stability. The maple bolt-on neck with rosewood fingerboard is fast and comfortable under the hand, lighter than you might expect at 7 lbs 3 oz. Set up by our shop with low action and ready to shred.
