Aristides T/0r – Shell Pink – Fishman Fluence Singles – Custom Inlays – Includes Mono Gig Bag and COA – Used Mint
Aristides Instruments builds guitars in the Netherlands from a material they invented themselves — Arium, a proprietary composite of glass pearls and natural resins developed over fifteen years at the Technical University of Delft with a single goal: to create a resonant, stable material that performs like the finest tonewoods without any of their limitations. No water content means no response to humidity or temperature change. No joints or glued connections means no energy loss between body and neck. One-piece construction means no dead spots, ever. The T/0r is Aristides’s Telecaster-inspired model — the body shape, the single-cutaway silhouette, and the general aesthetic all nod clearly to the format Leo Fender established in 1950, but the construction, materials, and performance are entirely contemporary. The raw finish version adds another layer of tactile interest — the Arium material is left partially exposed on the back and sides, giving the guitar a distinctive visual and physical character that finished instruments don’t have. The C neck profile at 20-22mm is comfortable and immediate, the Richlite fretboard with 10-14 inch compound radius handles both open chord playing and upper-register lead work without compromise, and 24 stainless steel jumbo frets will outlast the player. Hipshot locking tuners and a Hipshot 6-saddle retrofit bridge handle tuning and intonation with the precision the rest of the instrument demands. Green Luminlays on the side dots keep you oriented on a dark stage.
The electronics are a fully custom specification. Three Fishman Fluence single-coil pickups cover everything from glassy clean neck tones to bright, articulate bridge snap — the Fluence design eliminates the 60-cycle hum of traditional single-coils entirely, giving you the voice without the noise. The three-way switching and controls are mounted on a clear control plate on the back — clean, functional, and out of the way. The custom inlays seal the deal as a one-of-a-kind build: white ring inlays throughout with a peace sign at the 12th fret and an ohm symbol at the first — thoughtful and personal details that reflect exactly what a custom Aristides order makes possible.
This one is so cool and essentially as new — as close to mint as a guitar gets. Comes with the original Mono gig bag, Certificate of Authenticity, and RFID wallet.
