This 2020 PRS S2 Vela Semi-Hollow is an incredibly comfortable and inspiring instrument, weighing in at a featherlight 5 lbs 15 oz. The Vela is known for its distinct personality within the PRS lineup, offering a vintage-inspired offset vibe with a unique voice. The combination of the Starla humbucker in the bridge and the Type-D single-coil in the neck is widely considered one of the best pairings PRS offers, covering everything from bright, jangly cleans to punchy, aggressive rock tones.
This guitar is in Very Good condition and plays beautifully. While it is mechanically sound and feels fantastic in the hand, there are a few cosmetic imperfections to note: there is a hairline crack (less than 2") at the f-hole; a depression in the finish on the side, near the f-hole, right next to bevel (about the size of a half-dollar); and a very small imperfection on the front of the headstock below the low E tuner. These are not cracks in the wood and there is no exposed wood, please refer to the photos for a closer look. Despite these cosmetic blemishes, this is a top-tier, American-made instrument that is ready to work. It includes its original PRS padded gig bag.
