This is a great example of the quality instruments produced during the highly regarded era when Epiphones were manufactured by Samick in Korea. This Les Paul ES combines the classic LP design with a semi-hollow body, resulting in a resonant and comfortable guitar. The hollowed body and set neck combine to form a solid, well-balanced instrument that is a joy to play.
The pickups are well-matched to the guitar, providing a wide spectrum of useful tones, from warm, airy semi-hollow sounds to the powerful crunch you'd expect from a Les Paul. This guitar was clearly played and loved, and it has the feel of a well-broken-in instrument. The finish looks great, with no noticeable scratches, cracks, or dents. The frets have moderate but even play wear, but continue to play well. This is a fantastic and versatile guitar from a sought-after period of Epiphone's history. It includes a hardshell case.
