The Premier Mini DC takes the fundamental DNA of the beloved Premier DC and makes it considerably more comfortable, manageable, and travel-friendly — a 14-inch wide double-cutaway semi-hollow that punches well above its compact footprint. The centerblock semi-hollow construction is the engineering decision that defines this guitar's voice and behavior: hollow chambers on either side of a solid center block deliver the warmth, resonance, and acoustic bloom of a hollow body while the center block controls feedback and keeps the low end focused and articulate at stage volumes. At 6 pounds 15 ounces this is a genuinely lightweight instrument that sits comfortably against the body and balances naturally on a strap — the kind of guitar you can wear all night without thinking about it. The slim C-shape maple neck is fast and immediately familiar in the hand, and the fingerboard — a light-grained wood consistent with walnut in appearance — is smooth and well-dressed across all 22 medium frets at a 14-inch radius. The 25-inch scale length gives the guitar a slightly more elastic string feel than a standard 25.5-inch instrument.
