The body is crafted from Ash in a classic offset "Jazzmaster" style and finished in a cool Transparent Gray satin that lets the grain peek through. Weighing in at just 7.75 lbs, it is surprisingly light for a solid ash body, making it resonant and comfortable for long sets. Neck pocket is labeled "Healy" with date of "7/15/2020."
The neck is a gloss-finished Maple AllParts neck featuring a 70s-style bullet truss rod adjustment and a maple fingerboard for bright, snappy attack. Simplicity is key here: it is loaded with a single DiMarzio BC-2 humbucker (Billy Corgan Signature) with a striking red cover, wired to a single volume knob. This pickup delivers a thick, modern heavy tone that cuts through the mix without becoming muddy.
