This Peerless Renaissance Custom is a fine example of the superior quality and craftsmanship coming out of Korea in the early 2000s. If you were to imagine a "best of both worlds" mashup between a Gibson ES-330 and an ES-335, this is exactly what you would get. It offers a lush, expressive, and open tonal landscape—the kind of resonance you expect from a semi-hollow—but in a proper full hollow-body construction.
One of the biggest advantages of this design is its incredible weight; at just 6.15 lbs, it is exceptionally comfortable for long sets. Rather than using a heavy hardwood center block, Peerless utilized a soundpost to provide structural support and feedback resistance while maintaining the guitar's acoustic "air." The pickups do a wonderful job of capturing that acoustic essence. And since you're meant to plug this thing in- and once you do, it's off to the races!
This guitar is in Very Good condition. The only thing keeping it from an "Excellent" grade are a few small spots of faint hazing hiding within the clear coat (please see the dedicated photos for detail). These appear to be factory-original artifacts and do not affect the finish's integrity. In terms of playability and tone, this guitar is a real no-brainer. It has just been professionally set up in our shop and is ready to steal the show. It ships in its original hardshell case.
