Heritage Guitars builds its instruments in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and the H-575 is one of the company's classic archtops. It has a carved solid maple body in the ES-175 tradition and a 24-3/4 inch scale length. Players who want a traditional single-cutaway hollowbody for jazz, blues, and everything in between tend to find the H-575 a natural fit.
This one is great structurally and cosmetically. It looks like a vintage instrument that has been treated quite nicely, with some pleasantries of aging and play but no real dings, dents, or scratches. It has a new bone nut, and we reinforced the truss rod washer area a bit and added a washer to ensure the truss rod functions just as it should. It sets up great and is really fun to play: springy, smooth, and hard to put down. The frets are great and the electronics are all good.
