This 2009 Epiphone Emperor II Joe Pass Signature is a classic, full-depth hollow body jazz box that delivers a warm, complex, and mellow tone. Named after the legendary jazz virtuoso, this guitar is designed for traditional jazz phrasing but is versatile enough for blues and rockabilly. With its Select Spruce top and Maple back and sides, it offers excellent resonance and that "woody" acoustic character Joe Pass was known for.

This instrument is in **Very Good** condition and has been remarkably well-preserved. The only factor keeping it from the "Excellent" category is the fret wear; considering the guitar is 16 years old, the wear is not excessive, but there are moderate divots and flattening primarily restricted to the first few frets. Importantly, this wear does not impede a proper setup—our team has dialed it in, and the playability and performance remain very nice.
Outside of the fret wear, the guitar is in fantastic shape. The Natural finish is still vibrant and shiny, with no significant damage or defects to speak of. The gold hardware shows well, and the "Joe Pass" signature on the truss rod cover and the iconic floral headstock inlay complete the sophisticated look. It ships in a non-original hardshell case.
