This 1993 Gibson Les Paul Standard is a fantastic example from a highly-regarded period often called the "good wood era." This is a classic, no-nonsense rock and roll machine, featuring the iconic Ebony (black) finish and all the tone and feel you'd expect from a Les Paul of this vintage.
The guitar is in Very Good condition for an instrument over 30 years old. It shows a few nicks and dings here and there, commensurate with its age and honest use. All parts are original, pickguard is included but not attached (the tip around screw hole has been repaired, see picture). There is some fret wear, most noticeably on the B and G strings up to the 5th fret, overall it plays very well. This is a solid, resonant, and inspiring Les Paul from a great period of Gibson's history. It includes its original and sought-after "chainsaw" hardshell case.
