The Epiphone SST Studio is one of those guitars that genuinely earns its own category. It is not an acoustic with a pickup dropped in — it is a purpose-built feedback-free acoustic-electric with a chambered mahogany body, a select spruce top, and a Shadow NanoFlex pickup system that captures string, top, and body vibration in a way that a standard piezo simply cannot. The result is an acoustic tone that is punchy, clear, and genuinely usable at stage volume without the squeal. Epiphone developed the SST line for players who need the real acoustic thing in loud environments, and this guitar delivers on that promise.
This one has been fully gone over by our in-house techs and is set up and playing well — action is dialed in, electronics are functioning cleanly, and it is ready to go right off the wall. The SlimTaper C neck feels fast and comfortable under the hands, much closer to an electric feel than a traditional acoustic, which makes it a natural transition for electric players who need acoustic tone on the gig.
Condition is Very Good. There are clear signs of cosmetic use — the kind of surface wear and light scratches you see on a guitar that has actually been played — but nothing structural, nothing that affects playability, and nothing that surprised us when we went through it.
