The ProBucker-2 in the neck position is warm and clear, the ProBucker-3 at the bridge is slightly overwound for balance and a bit of edge on leads, and the push/pull coil-tap on each volume control opens up single-coil territory from both pickups independently. Three-way toggle plus two coil taps gives you a genuinely wide tonal range in one instrument. The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece lock in place for stable tuning and consistent intonation, and the Grover tuners hold pitch reliably. Set up by our shop and ready to shred.
The Translucent Blue finish over the AAA flame maple veneer top is one of the better looking options in the Standard Pro line — the figure reads through the trans finish cleanly and the blue sits warm rather than cold against the maple grain.
