This 2007 Gibson Custom Shop R8 Les Paul is a faithful recreation of the iconic 1958 Les Paul Standard, crafted with vintage-correct specs and premium materials. Featuring a carved maple top, solid mahogany body and neck, and a fat 1958 neck profile, the R8 delivers thick, resonant tone with classic Les Paul sustain and warmth. The Burstbucker pickups offer articulate midrange and vintage-style output, making this a go-to guitar for blues, rock, and classic tones.
This example is in very good condition with light to moderate playwear. There are a few small dings and surface scuffs on the body and headstock, but no cracks or structural issues. Frets are in excellent shape with minimal wear. The guitar plays cleanly with low, comfortable action and has been freshly set up. Includes original Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case and case candy.
