The 2020 reissue of the Fender HM Strat faithfully revives the high-performance shred machine that first appeared in the late '80s. Short for “Heavy Metal,” the HM Strat features a lightweight basswood body, slim modern "C" neck with a flat 17" radius maple fingerboard, and a locking Floyd Rose tremolo system for expressive divebombs and rock-solid tuning stability. The HSS pickup configuration offers tonal versatility, with a high-output bridge humbucker for searing leads and two single coils for classic Strat textures.
This example is in very good condition with light cosmetic wear including minor pick scratches and small marks near the lower bout. The frets are in excellent condition, the neck is straight, and the action is low and fast. All electronics and hardware function properly. Includes padded gig bag.
