Used, in good playing condition with a tweed hardshell case. This is a very unique, very vibey custom-assembled "Surfcaster" with a chunky C maple nitro-finish neck, solid set of single coil pickups, tele-style Fender Bigsby with roller bridge, what appears to be an alder body. Very balanced feel at only 8lbs or so, very Fender but with its own quirky magic. Medium, vintage style frets, bone nut, vintage-style nickel tuners, clean wiring internally. We do not have info about the maker or assembler of the instrument but they clearly had a fun vision and some knowhow!
There are plenty of cosmetic dings in the body finish, wear and tear on the neck finish, some minor fretwear (mostly some flattening), and the neck has needed a shim to perform well at its current age (see photo sets). It currently is set up nicely with low action, clean electronics.
