For sale is a very cool Custom Shop Guitar from Fender! This is a '62 Esquire in a relic'd Sherwood Green with a flamed maple neck and rosewood fingerboard and a Bigsby. It weighs in at 7lbs 7 ounces.
The neck is quite thick but is a very comfortable profile that moves from a U to a D shape as it ascends the fretboard. The neck thickness measures .98" at the 1st fret and exactly 1" at the 12th fret.
Fender really knocked it out of the park with this relic job. The look and feel is totally authentic. The back of the neck in particular feels perfectly worn in. The pickup sounds great with all the twang and punch you'd expect.
This guitar comes with an unoriginal vintage Fender hardshell case and does not have any case candy or a COA. Our Fender rep did verify its Serial number: R90133 which yielded this info from his database: [9231008737]() - 1962 ESQUIRE REL MN - FD SHG
