For sale is perhaps the earliest Boss pedal we have ever seen in the shop. This is a 1979 Boss PH-1 Phaser. Long dash, silver screw, black label MIJ with "skeleton clear switch". Serial number reads 8700.
The skeleton clear swtich refers to the way the LED operatates. The light will flash on and back off when you engage the footswitch. So the LED doesn't not stay on but just flashes to indicate a change in operation.
Goreous, chewey phase tone is on tap for days with this puppy. This pedal is a classic piece of Boss history that is a must have for any collector.
