This beautiful set of tablas was hand-made in India, and later sold in the US by an Indian classical instrument retailer Keshav Music. The drums show signs of use expected from well-played instruments but the shells, tuning pegs, cushions, and heads are in good playing condition.
The heads are naturally aged, so the maximum pitch and tension for both drums is lower than average. The drums have been lightly tuned in our shop for tonal clarity, but will likely need additional attention and tuning pegs in order to sound like traditionally high tabla pitches.
This set of tablas includes the original Keshav Music carrying case, two cushions, as well as two decorative drum covers.
