The Paiste 900 Series 14" Hi-Hat pair is a versatile and powerful choice for drummers who need a balance of warmth, brightness, and durability. Crafted from the same 2002 Bronze (CuSn8) as Paiste’s legendary professional lines, the 900 Series benefits from Swiss craftsmanship and a sophisticated hybrid manufacturing process. These hi-hats offer a medium-heavy top and a heavy bottom, resulting in a well-defined "chick" sound and a responsive, articulate feel under the sticks.
This particular pair is in excellent condition, showing only minimal signs of light play. The finish remains bright, and there are no cracks, keyholing, or flea bites along the edges. One of the standout features of the 900 Series is the special finish that slightly darkens the bronze, highlighting the lathing patterns and giving the cymbals a unique, rugged aesthetic while subtly warming up the overall tone.
Whether you are playing rock, pop, or metal, these hi-hats deliver a "washy" open sound and a crisp, tight closed sound that cuts through a mix without being overly harsh. They are a professional-grade option for players who demand the consistency and shimmering clarity that Paiste is known for globally.
