The Paiste 900 Series 16" Crash is a versatile, mid-sized cymbal that delivers a classic, bright crash sound with a medium-long sustain. Crafted from Paiste’s legendary 2002 Bronze (CuSn8) alloy, this cymbal is part of a series known for its incredible value and professional-grade performance. The 16 inch diameter provides a fast, explosive response that is ideal for quick accents and punctuated rhythms while still offering enough body to fill out a musical phrase.
Like all cymbals in the 900 Series, this model is produced using a combination of sophisticated Swiss manufacturing and extensive hand-hammering. It features a unique, slightly darkened finish that highlights the deep lathing and hammering marks, giving the cymbal a rugged, industrial aesthetic. Sonically, this finish helps to warm up the bronze slightly, ensuring that the high-end shimmer remains musical and never becomes harsh or brittle, even at higher volumes.
This cymbal is in excellent condition and has been thoroughly inspected in our shop. The edges are perfectly smooth with no nicks, cracks, or flea bites, and the center hole is perfectly round with no signs of keyholing. The logos are clear and the finish shows only very light signs of careful play. Whether you are playing in a high-energy rock band or a dynamic studio session, this 16 inch crash offers the legendary Paiste consistency and shimmering clarity that drummers worldwide rely on.
