This 1978 Fender Precision Bass is a fantastic example of late-70s American muscle. Finished in a classic Black, it delivers the thump, punch, and aggressive midrange that defined the sound of rock, punk, and disco in that era.
This bass is in Very Good condition and is a true player's instrument. At 10 lbs 12 oz, it sits comfortably in the lighter range for this era of Fender production, often noted for heavier "boat anchor" instruments that could reach 12+ lbs; this one feels substantial but not heavy, and balances well on a strap. The original bridge cover, pickup cover, and thumbrest have been removed (not included), giving it a sleek, ready-to-rock aesthetic.

It has just been professionally set up and plays extremely well with comfortable low action. The frets show mild wear, promising years of trouble-free playing. The original hardshell case is included; it is in Fair condition with some of the plastic shell on a corner missing, please see pictures.
