Mill River Music brings you a used Fender 1995 American Standard Jazz Bass V w/ HSC! All of the electronics work as expected and sound great, and we note some physical work that has been done to this bass, both from the previous owner and our techs in-shop: when it came into us, we saw the neck has some finish cracks and checks that are most likely due to water damage/improper storage, and the truss rod was outfitted with some washers so it would stick out of the neck a tad (see photos for specifics). Then in-house, we refretted the neck and set the bass up to playing spec and medium action; this bass has life and music still in it, so come by the shop today to try it out! We also mention the hardshell Fender case comes with a classic vintage smell of the 90s!
This Fender 5-string bass features a Maple neck with a Rosewood fretboard, a double-cutaway Alder body in a beautiful Lipstick Red finish, and three knobs that control your volume and tone for the two single-coil jazz pickups; the weight of the bass comes in at 9 lbs 11oz. The extended range of the bass sounds fantastic through an amp, and we're excited to get it out to you!
